Competition for the Odesa Court of Appeal: One Candidate Failed to Confirm the Ability to Administer Justice, Whilst One Candidate Confirmed It

On May 06, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the suitability of three candidates for the position of judge to administer justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission took the following decisions:

Please be reminded that 50 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges at the Odesa Court of Appeal.

In total, interviews were conducted with 49 candidates: 26 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 17 failed to confirm it, and 6 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
