On February 11, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in partnership with the Ukrainian Bar Association, held the third regional Questions and Answers session with lawyers interested in participating in the selection of judges to local courts. After Lviv and Dnipro, this time the questions were answered in Kharkiv by Deputy Сhairman of the Commission Oleksii Omelian and Commission member Roman Sabodash.
The speakers focused on the issues that should be taken care of now, namely: taking an exam in advance to determine the level of proficiency in the state language, checking personal keys for submitting documents, and thorough preparation of documents.
The main questions were related to the correctness of filling out the questionnaire of a candidate for the position of a judge, calculation and confirmation of work experience and the procedure for submitting documents. Many questions concerned the qualification exam.
The members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine provided comprehensive answers on the selection procedure and requirements for candidates.
The following events will take place: February 21 in Odesa and February 28 in Kyiv.
It should be reminded, in December 2024, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine announced the selection of judges to local courts with a projected number of 1,800 vacancies. The deadline for submitting an application and documents for participation in the selection is from March 01, 2025, to March 30, 2025 (inclusive). The period for submission of documents for military personnel is from March 01 to May 01, 2025 (inclusive).
