
On June 17, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine approved the coded and decoded results of the practical assignment in the specialisation of the local commercial court, completed on October 09–10, 2025 as the fourth stage of the qualification exam by candidates for the position of a judge of the local court and by judges who have expressed their intention to be transferred to another local court.

Please be reminded: the selection procedure for candidates for the position of a judge of the local court was announced by the Commission’s Decision No. 366/zp-24 of December 11, 2024, taking into account the projected 1,800 judicial vacancies in local courts, including 200 vacancies in local commercial courts.
Pursuant to the Decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine No. 367/zp-24 of December 11, 2024, applications were invited from judges intending to be transferred to another local court to sit the qualification exam.
A total of 2,461 candidates for the position of a judge of the local court and 140 judges intending to be transferred to another local court were admitted to the qualification exam in the specialisation of the local commercial court.
A total of 389 candidates for the position of a judge of a local court and 22 judges intending to be transferred to another local court were admitted to complete the practical assignment in the specialisation of the local commercial court.
The passing score for the fourth stage of the qualification exam was set at 75 per cent of the maximum possible score, equivalent to 112,5 points.
The results of the practical assignment in the commercial court specialisation were determined for 406 participants (5 participants did not attend), as follows:
- 319 participants achieved the passing score;
- 87 participants failed to achieve the passing score, including:
11 participants who scored between 72 and 99,34 points;
76 participants who scored between 100 and 112 points.
The exercise of the rights of participants in the qualification exam to review specific examination materials, as provided for by the Regulation on the Procedure of Qualification Examination and Methodology for Evaluation of Candidates, approved by the Commission’s Decision No. 185/zp-24 of June 19, 2024 (as amended), shall be carried out in accordance with the following guidance (in Ukrainian).
