
Please be informed, that on July 04, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to schedule the test of knowledge of the history of Ukrainian statehood as part of the qualification exam for candidates for the position of a local court judge and judges who have expressed their intention to be transferred to another local court, and determined the schedule for its conduct.

If a person has changed their surname, they must promptly notify the Commission and send a copy of the document confirming the name change. The notification along with the supporting documents can be submitted in the “Candidate’s Requests” section of the judicial career e-cabinet on the official website of the Commission or sent to the Commission’s email address: inbox@vkksu.gov.ua.
To facilitate the participation of candidates for the position of judge and sitting judges who are military personnel, the Commission has decided that, upon written request from a participant who is a service member, the date for taking the test on the history of Ukrainian statehood may be rescheduled within the examination period (from July 15 to July 24, 2025). Further information about the procedure for rescheduling the test date will be published on the Commission’s official website.
The testing will take place at the premises of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine located at: 9 General Shapoval Street, Kyiv, and at: 90 Vasylkivska Street, Kyiv.
To register, candidates must present their Ukrainian citizen passport.
The test of knowledge on the history of Ukrainian statehood will be conducted using computer technology.
The number of questions for this test will be selected randomly by the information system, taking into account the taxonomic structure of the test and the number of test items in each section (subsection) of the examination program, as well as the taxonomic structure of the anonymous test on Ukrainian statehood history approved by the Commission’s Decision No. 29/zp-25 of
January 29, 2025.
The duration of the test on the history of Ukrainian statehood is 40 minutes.
The number of assignments in the test of knowledge of the history of Ukrainian statehood is 40.
The maximum possible score at the stage of testing of knowledge of the history of Ukrainian statehood is 40.
An individual code and workstation for the test will be randomly assigned using a blind selection method by the participant from printed and randomly placed hidden options in front of them.
